The type of one's preferred brand indicates the idols type. Note that I am using the term Glam to refer to the fourth type as its original name feels inappropriate for kids. The brands are separated into one of four types: Cute, Pop, Cool, and Glam. Each brand has its unique animation that the idol performs mid performance known as a special appeal. The idols each have each preferred brand that they mainly use when performing. For the uninitiated, the Aikatsu Franchise is idol anime started to help promote the Aikatsu arcade game starting. Lastly, which of idol academy/academies would the members would go to. Along with choosing which brand and type their group as whole would have. I am selecting the brand that I think suites each member the best. Here is a quick explanation of this blog series. As to why they changed the name of a franchise that is already in English, but I digress. As I don't like the changes, so I will stick with the original. Note I will only be referring to characters by their original names and not by their names in Glitter Force.
